Really Good Low Fat Bran Muffins

We`re having a little birthday get together for my brother who`s turning 38 at my parents this afternoon.

Thought I`d make some more muffins in the meantime. I double this to make 24 because I like to take one to work for my breakfast each day and they`re good for such a low fat muffin and very moist still........

1 cup of flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cinnamon
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup wheat bran
1 cup all bran cereal
1 egg
2 tblsp. molasses
1 !/4 cups skim milk
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup plain no fat yogurt
1/2 cup raisins

Heat oven at 350
Mix together the first 6 ingredients
Mix last 8 ingredients in another bowl
Add the dry to the wet stirring gently not overly
Spoon into muffin papers or greased muffin tin

Bake for 10 to 18 minutes depending on how hot your oven gets... checking with toothpick until it comes out clean.

mmmmmmmmmmmmm......butter was for the picture but I`ve ate too many chips and cookies this weekend anyway so what`s a little butter?
Now this is my kind cup of tea.
1 muffin has 112 calories and 1.6 grams of fat without the butter!

Thanks for the recipe....I love bran muffins. Think I might make some this afternoon.

That's the kind of cup I like, too. Nice and big and comfy to hold.
