Cozy Little Spots

With all the horror going on right now, I am so thankful for my life. I wish EVERYONE in EVERY corner of the world could have cozy spots and peace.
This is one of my cozy spots. The window ledge above the kitchen sink. There`s always been something about gnomes, so I put the little people here. The small one is usually in the middle but today I guess not. (Funny the things you notice when you take a picture of something you look at everyday and don`t notice) I`m always knocking them off and smashing their poor little heads in the sink. Good thing they`re plastic. The pin money bank which isn`t plastic, is something I found while dragging hubby through a huge antique warehouse. I thought it was pretty. The third is in the bathroom. I seem to have ended up with two different kinds of rooms. Some are English cottagey (well, my version anyway) and some are what I call a little bohemian/art deco or something or other. Not near as lavish but inspired by Raymond Waites. If you look closely you can see the picture consists of two different ones of Marlene Dietrich by illusionary artist Octavio Ocampo. Just a card that really caught my eye so I framed it. Below is a close up to see better what I mean. The old movie stars fascinate me. I recovered a front room chair "old hollywood style" which I`ll post sometime. We call it the Rudolph Valentino chair. It put me in mind of some of the pictures in the two Hollywood Baylon books I have. If you love old movies stars, these books are packed with fantastic pictures and stories from Theda Bara, Clara Bow, Rudy, Erol Flyn, Jean Harlow right on through, hundreds. The wall lady I found at a liquidation centre and just painted her gold leaf. The egg, now that I see it in picture form...leave or remove?
