I Cheated But.....

Hubby`s boys are down this weekend and the youngest one`s a birthday boy turned 12. Their father is a wonderful Dad. He drives 2 hours away on a "good" traffic day every other weekend to get them and then take them home again. I make a cake for birthdays so I thought I`d make something summery this time. I cheated. I used a white box mix and icing. Layered some icing and sliced strawberries inside with whole ones on top. It`s far from perfect looking, but I think it will still taste good. I made this last night but today I didn`t want to turn the oven on again. Makinge roast beef that`s in the crock pot right now and we`ll have it with gravy and mashed potatoes. I love crock pots.

Thanks furr visiting us on our blog. We've come over together to see yours. We like your kitty and we fink that's a good idea in your garden furr him (or her) to go in and out the kitty flap.We like your garden too, it looks good furr exploring in and we wouldn't dig up your plants. We got kitty litter furr fings like that. oh and if we do see you, watch out furr your toes cos Flynn likes to pounce on them.
Purrs 'n' headbutts to you and your kitty(s?)

I second the motion by the felines above. Thank you for visiting my Butler's Diary blog. Yours seems very interesting. I am sure that Mr Barton would sympathise with all the work that awaits you in the garden.
