My Little Tea Pot........

I just love this tea pot from hubby. He said he trolled the antiques mall and there it was! It`s my favorite of all my teapots. Says Chelsea Gibson England on the bottom. Not sure if that`s a company or a person. It`s definately been well loved and will be again.

I like it so much that I keep it right on the table along with my traditional Christams rose. Isobel especially admires that! This makes a nice pot of tea too :).
He also gave me a new flat screen monitor. Wow....what a difference it makes. Now everything is in true colour rather than sometimes too dark to see. I think I did good this year!

What a beautiful delicate looking teapot. The flat screen sounds great, too. I have one at work and love it.

Barefoot on Christmas! Amazing. We had a green Christmas in Michigan, too.

It looks like you had a great time with your family.

You did do well girl! That teapot is lovely, although I think I'll favor the flat screen. ;-)
I liked seeing your family, thanks for giving us a look see. I think it makes blogger friends closer and more real when you can see them in the context of family and real life.

The teapot is really beautiful and I have a possible answer for the Chelsea Gibson England mark on the back. There was a company called Gibson and Sons in the Potteries area of England (around Stoke-on-Trent)who were well known for making teapots. Between 1925-1930 they were using the Chelsea Works at Burslem so that would date your teapot very nicely. Lucky you to get such a lovely item. Rowan aka Anonymous again!

Hi Tea, There was a Gibson & Sons Ltd. or before that a Gibson, Sudlow & Co. from Burslam, Stoke On Trent. If you care to visit the addresses below you might find some info about your teapot, if it was made by this company Chelsea could be the name they gave to that lots of teapots.

Hi, Tea! Thanks for visiting! I love Sweet Tea. I am not from the South, but have lived there the last 20 years, and it is a staple in our diet!!
I love a green Christmas!!

Oh -- the teapot is lovely. I like teapots too but I have no place to store them!!

I never used to drink tea but now that I'm living in England I'm becoming more accustomed to it. Of course my husband drinks tea throughout the day. Someday I must give up my coffee and switch to tea as it has , I understand, nutritional and healing properties to it.

There is something very cosy about teapots, we have a family one in a museum in the UK with our name on.

Nice to see your site again, have a happy New Year.
