Just a Peek and "The Tomato"

The family re-union went great and I snapped a couple of pics there. I don`t know whether family members would want their pictures on the internet so I`ve left those out....
The first is Elvis making his rounds to see what`s on everyones plate.
"Okay...lets see who I can make feel sorry for my hungry tummy"...

My Aunt Rita`s little dog Nicky. Isn`t that patch cute?

This is the third tomato to appear in the house, unpicked by human hands....

Just look at those teeth marks for a clue...

Is that a guilty look or what?

"Yeah...okay. I admit it. I did it.But it wasn`t ripe enough to hide the evidence, Mum"

Thanks to all you guys for your nice comments and wishes! Hope everyone has a great weekend. It`s a long one here in Canada. We call it Labour Day Weekend. Last days of summer sadly and the kids go back to school on Tuesday.
Next weekend we`re having a bonfire party here. Looking forward to it and hoping the weather is as nice as this weekend.

On a tragic last note....Let our hearts go out to the family of the 25 year old mother that got hit and killed on the 401 yesterday after managing to rescue her child from the car after a transport truck hit it. When she returned to the car, she was then struck from behind by a second transport truck. Her 3 year old daughter witnessed it. How absolutely horrifying.

And wishing you a great weekend too

My tommies are late, still green we've had a late summer (and yes I did plant them a little late - but it may pay off in the end.)

Oh, so you have one of those dogs who brings stuff into the house too? Elvis does look truly guilty. But how can you or anyone be upset with a dog that has such a wonderful, SMILING face as his!

Looks like you had fun. :) You and your sister look so cute together. Puts me back in the mood to do some scrapbooking, which can be expensive. ;) I'm so sorry to hear about the mom and her daughter.
I hope you enjoy your labor day. My plans are to labor a little and rest a lot. :)
Take Care and stay safe.

Hope you had a good holiday weekend. Looking forwards to hearing about your bonfire party--sounds exciting--the weather must be fairly temperate up in your area. We've been 110 F for the past several days. My prayers and sympathy to the family of that brave woman.

Hi Tea, ha ha - I think to Elvis its not a tomato plant but a ball tree! Hope your bonefire party goes ok at the weekend. Bob.
