Work has kept us both far too busy so the floor isn`t finished yet. But on the weekend I took two things and made them new to match the future room. The first was originally a dark brown and then I had it painted gold. Now I`ve painted it white and aged it by adding watery brown and green......

This was originally beiges, then it became white....now it`s a green.....

I`m on a find and use what I have role at the moment. It gives me something to do while saving for fabric for the couch etc ect ect. And loads of time to think of ideas. I want an all green room with teeny tiny spurts of colour and lots of plants and a few flowers in pots. That`s the plan so far.
Now back to work and catching up on my blogs :)

That green room sounds wonderful. I'm sure it will be, because you have great taste.

Good work Tea. Both pieces turned out really well. I find greens very soothing and calming, I'm looking forward to seeing the finished project.

Lovely pieces. I love what you did. I'm taking my old stuff down to Riverside and going to paint it up down there. What a difference, huh. You have motivated me! Thank you!!

Well done Tea... I love the statue and the mirror. I agree green is such a restful colour, Mother Nature uses it a lot!

Hope you have a good productive weekend, you are always a busy lady lady with some project on the go. Marion

I really like what you have done with both pieces and they will look lovely in the rooms you are planning. I like green especially in the middle of winter ~ giving hope that spring will return soon!!!

I look forward to your all green room. When you get it completed and share pics.

I'm intrigued by the idea of a basically all-one-color room. But I guess I wouldn't have the courage to do it. I leaf through magazines and decorating books and see them and.... -sigh- I guess I have to admit, I don't have the courage. -sigh-

Just call me whimp I suppose.

Good job!
Isn't it funny that we work to make pieces look like they have been out in the garden, aging in the weather.
Ta~da...done!
