Off to Toronto in a bit but I thought I`d show a glimpse of our mess as well as what the animals think about it. Have a great weekend! Hope everyone has a faster connection than me because I`ve gotten carried away with pictures.....
This is the hallway to the back garden area. It`s going to be bare for awhile but it`s nice to get rid of that old green rug. I look so forward to really changing the look of this area with new colours etc. Raymond Waites on a bad budget mixed with boho mish mash will be only in the bathroom and one or two bedrooms eventually. A consolation is that I have loads of time to study colour and idea combinations. I picked up a ton of paint chips in all shades of the greens and reds in the cranberrie and pinky shades.....but no pink! Just that family rather than the terra cottas and orange reds for accents. I love the old world greens and naturals but this being a cottage, it wouldn`t work here so good. I`d like to bring the garden feel inside without getting too flowery about it. We`ll see. There sure is a lot to think about and I can`t for the life of me find any pictures with those colour combos for ideas. The walls white....green themed room with those shades of red dark to light to warm it up and then a dash or two of some small other colours such as ivory, white and one more. OOOOh, I need to be rich!..
And this is the hallway to the front door and frontroom at the moment....
This looks oddly like a paper bustier...
Peek-a-boo
Hmmmmm.......
What? You think I`m going to bother her?
Well maybe....
Yes, maybe....
Uh oh....look out Isabell....
Everything is crammed in the hall, bedroom and halfway down the frontroom.
Watching tv view. An Interior designer would have a fit, seeing that tv beside the fireplace. But it`s really the only place it can go. It really needs camophlaging if not in use. Budget wise, I wonder if a tablecloth would do LOL
Elvis has found a small mat for now.....
Ahhhhhhh......wonderful rubbing post......
Totally heavenly, lovely mess......
Okay here`s goes the Meme......

Thanks for dropping by my blog:-) I LOVE sweet potato... my fave colour is green too and I love your little link that shows who's visiting! I just looked and it said 1 aussie...and I guess that would be me!
Looking forward to following you through your renovations. Your ideas sounds wonderful!
I feel your pain. I still haven't put all the things back in my bedroom after the floor was installed (not sure I want to!). Just remember how nice it will all look once it's done!! Don't you love how the animules have to be in the middle of EVERYTHING!!!
I don't envy you - isn't it odd how even decorating one small room can turn an entire house upside down? There are a couple of felines who look to be enjoying it though - poor Elvis just wants everything back to normal by the look of him:)
...I`d like to bring the garden feel inside without getting too flowery about it...
Yes but you could get woody and planty about it, T&M.
Hello Tea...
I can see you are a busy girl. Love the floors they look really smart and so easy to keep clean, I bless the day we fitted this type of flooring, so hygienic too, especially when you have pets.
Talking of pets, I love Angus, your ginger cat, he’s just gorgeous, so are your other pets, but I especially love Angus
I have been having problems leaving comments on a lot of where word verification is needed, but I see you don’t require it on your. That’s good! Hope all is well with you Tea. Marion
James.... Good idea!

Keep plugging away at your floor. I can't wait to see the results since I fully intend to install new flooring in my lounge.
Enjoyed your tag thingy. I'm glad there's someone else who can eat a whole pint of ice cream in one sitting.
Cats are so adaptable but poor Elvis looks a little shell shocked :) Your home is going to be stunning, looking forward to more pics ;)
cj, Elvis always looks a little shell shocked to me!
Tea, what an interesting person you are!
When is your birthday? I've a feeling you probably mentioned when, before, but I can't remember it, if you did.
Your animals look as if they are really enjoying the renovations!
Christine..... thanks for the compliment! My birthday was January 3rd.

LoVe the kitty and doggy photos!
You will be so relieved when all the work is done - cats are funny they don't like changes but somehow adapt to the new placing of things - when we put down flooring a few years ago our cats were skidding around on their back legs and bottoms because they couldn't get a grip with their claws. The are used to it now.
Your new floor looks great. It is fun watching your renovations happen after reading about your plans. More exciting for you though I am sure!
The pics of your cats are pretty cool. You can see the individual personalities even in the pics.
Cute cute CUTE cats!
Don't cats just make a home, homey-er?
I think so.
