Play Toys, Trippy Things and Dreaming..........

We`re in the frontroom now and hubby is working on that part....

He has to do it backwards due to wanting everything matching up right. A bit complicated but as always, he figured out a way by holding each piece up with a flat tool in order to slip the sticky piece underneath.

This is what it looks like at the moment. Everything in the hall that`s not stuffed in the spare bedrooms........

Elvis seems to be staring with dread at that broom for some reason LOL. But Teddy seems quite content. That table has been hauled out of hiding to re-finish by my Mum :)...

Ooooooooh. Toys!

Teddy loves the bare floor. I caught him scooting back and forth the other day like a kitten! The cats are very bored right now because it`s too cold to venture outside. Isobell is getting into mischief nd has ripped the wallpaper off of a plug plate.

These are curtains I had packed away so I`ve used them for now. Eventually I want some flowy gauzey or shimmery sheers in some shade of green on either sides of the windows. Light and airy to let in the light. Oh I have plans. But only plans for a good long while. I want to do several shades of green but no minty or dusty greens. More of the garden greens. And a new area rug someday and fabric to re-cover everything and.....well you get the picture :) That smaller window has a mate on the other side of the larger one, but this one holds our air conditioner and looks like crap but we need that in summer here. I don`t know how to fix that dilemma. Oh to be able have a proper interior decorator fix everything like they do on tv LOL!

Snow dog......

Elvis is probably wishing everything would just go back to normal again:) I'm surprised the cats are taking it so well, mine used to hate if you even moved a piece of furniture around to somewhere different.

Things always look worse before they look better. That floor will be great once you are all done! I love your fireplace tucked in the corner of your living room. Poor Elvis, he seems to be having more of a problem with this than his feline friends!!

Hi -- Kim here.

Yes -- animals are funny when you start messing around with the furniture and rearranging things.

You might be interested to know that I finally just ran out into my dining room yesterday and pulled off a whole hunk of wallpaper. And so it's begun. I worked on it tonight... and will be peeling wallpaper for a long time, I'm afraid.

Can't wait to see how your floor turns out.

I can see why you are not into the spring cleaning this year.

If the cats like the hardwood floor, you might want to get one of those laser pointers and flash it around on the floor. We do that with our cat and she chases the laser all over the place ... and slides all over the shiny floor doing so! :)

Your floors are going to be gorgeous and well worth all the work and living in hell! I still don't have everything put back! Love the doggy in the snow and the kitty pics.

Oh you have both been very busy! Through everything you can see the changes happening! Elvis and his crew will soon discover more mischief and coomfy spots as the changes occur.

Maybe we will be rid of the snow this weekend!

You're so, so busy. How much is left of the place to renovate and what will you do then, T&M?

I hope I can then relax and enjoy it all :) But that`s ages into the future anyway. It`s only bit by bit going to get done but it`s just as well because I have lots of time to think and plan .
