This wallpaper is partially on it`s way up on the walls of the front room and hall. Easier and less messy than paint and it has a cottagey texture to it. I can`t take any credit for putting it up though because it`s a project my Mum has offerd to do :) She always loved to wallpaper! Thanks Mum :)
Look what came in the post yesterday! My new throw mat that I ordered from Carols Rugs. She made it to match my kitchen and it`s washable and nice and cushiony to stand on while doing the dishes. You can see her work here http://www.carolsrugs.com/She makes some beautiful things!
Here`s a close-up......
Isobell loves pretties. She`s been letting me take her picture lately.

Love her rounded silhouette!
Very nice rug, Tea. And it looks perfect on your lovely new kitchen floor!
Nice picture of Isobell!

Wow, that rug is GORGEOUS. I'm going to check out her site.
Isobell, queen of all she surveys. She looks cuddly.
Your kitchen chair fabric looks the same or at least very similar to mine Tea..!
Just stumbled in from Christine's. It's always nice to find another serial re-decorator. I LOVE your list of links!

Beautiful rug!!
Isobell is a very pretty kitty indeed. By far the best decoration in the house. :)
That's a very pretty mat, Tea! I am going to check straight aways that other blog where it was sold!
Your Isolbell looks like the cat we had when I was a kid... Now, much to my regret, we do not have pets at all... ;-((
That is a beautiful rug - and a beautiful cat!
It's Kim here (not Pearl the cat)
I admire you for wallpapering. I'm afraid of it. I don't know why, though. Maybe I shouldn't be! I'm going to be stripping wallpaper soon and I just can't bear the thought of putting more back up on my walls... yet... there are so many beautiful patterns.
Tea, your kittys are so cute! That rug is gorgeous! Good luck with the decorating! Isn't it fun!
Hi Tea & Margaritas! I'm tagging you! Visit my blog for details. I hope you don't mind...
hello, I've meant to come here for such a long time now. I think I did a few months ago, can't remember now. But I enjoyed seeing the projects you're undertaking in your home and oh what wonderful animals - Isobell is quite something! I was interested in how you did the bricks in your back garden. I love English cottages and have always wanted a cottage garden (alas I'm not a gardener). I will be back and would so like to see how that wallpaper looks after it's hung. It looks like anaglypta - the kind you can even paint over.
sorry for the long post - nice to meet you finally.
Cheers -
Lisa
Tea...love the rug. And you are so right about wall paper...so much easier than painting. Especially when your dear mum is going to do it for you!
