There Really Should Be a Law Against All This......

"There I was minding my own and having my afternoon cat nap...."

"Then she decides to take up all the carpets! I could see taking them up if there were new ones to replace them. But really! And this constant changing things round. Meeeow. "

"And then snapping a pic of the dog end.I call it the dog end because there`s not a cat thing in sight. And that spooky old messy bookcase filled with strange collections. The chair not even fitted and sewn yet. Silly Mum. She best watch it or I might just use one of her new plants as my litter box!"

I can't believe it!! There must be some kind of fever or virus going around... we had all of our carpets taken up too! And now we have wood floors in our living room and hallway. Not so much fun to scratch on!!

Hey Tea, you've been soooo busy. Been MIA but checked in a couple of times (just missed your pics until you posted them again). The home is looking really wonderful...don't kid yourself, you don't just have a pretty blog...you have a pretty interesting blog too and great photogenic, posing pets ;) I'm so glad someone else is going step by step (faster than me) 'cause it's inspiring!

LOL...My dog gets annoyed when I just want to vacuum, yeah, she'd really be ticked if we took up carpets. :)

Did you make your own slipcovers? The loveseat looks perfect!

your kitty looks like our oscar kitty! (i just posted a photo of him recently)

Kimberly.... The couch ended up being the only slipcover. It was easier to recover everything else and the fabrics were sturdier.

Pearl...you and my guys should get together. You`d have a lot to chat about LOL

cj.....looking forward to seeing your step by steps :)

cinderelly....he does look like Angus with a bit shorter hair!

Tea, what a sweet post! And while Angus might be thinking of using one of your plants as his new litter box at least he's staying away from your computer (unlike Lulu)! Hugs and kisses.

The 'dog end' is looking good, the couch looks so pretty covered in that fabric. Angus has a wonderful line in disdainful looks doesn't he? :):)

I can just see Angus thinking those things! Love all the photos in your previous posts, your garden looks so lovely and summery! The sofa and cushions are gorgeous - I can't believe you're doing it all yourself, you are much better than sewing than I. Give the marmalade-one a hug from me :)

Now that room looks just wonderful!! You've done a super job. And I love the doggie cushions on your couch.

Angus is such a handsome cat. I must say that I miss having a cat around the house.

Wow, what a simple, classy, lovely room - I see Angus has got his claws into the new sofa cover!

Tea, have to tell you that we (Ana, me & Margarida, who since yesterday only answers to the name, Beyoncé) just loved this. I read out loud in my best Henry's Cat voice & that did it. M does the same & much more. Does Angus also use the settee-top to practise his open-claw tap dancing, thus making his Mum mad as hell? And can he say 'hello', like I've taught M to do? If yes, it's marriage for sure.

Wow Tea .. what a change and how wonderful everything looks. When it's done, please post a picture of the room along with your inspiration picture again ... I think you are spot on!

Love the sucky smug kitty face!!!

icarus...Isobell likes to be the one to try the claw trick and Teddy is the one that says hello to me in his little "mee-ek" Angus is more the persistant "pet me, rub me, cause I won`t leave you alone" type :)

Your sitting room is charming; I hope you have Angus well trained so he doesn't claw things to bits. I wish we had our ginger pussy back with us; he was so beautiful and cuddly. Angus reminds me so much of him.
