Living in the country, loving, working, thinking.......something of a keepsake for me to look back on, of my beloved pets and family, interesting things, oh yes, and my decorating atrocities.
To the families and friends of the students and teachers who lost their lives in this horrendous shooting in the USA at Virginia Tech University. My heart and prayers go out to you.....
I was just commenting to my friend about how numb I feel to this. Every day I wake up to the horror of the Iraq war and I've just heard about so much death and bloodshed that when this story broke I just thought, "oh... another shooting." Sad.
127 people died today in Baghdad.
I just feel hopeless. About the American menatlity to gun control and this idiotic war.
Sorry. I really had to get that off my chest.

(and Pearl feels the same way. She might become a political animal, if you know what I mean.)
I agree Kim, that guns are not the answer. I think that Americans would feel helpless if they were taken away from them now though. They should have anyone who legally owns one be screened somehow. Here it`s the black matket that gets them easily. But I hope they are never legal here. I also think that we should all pull out of Iraq. Too many people are dying and that`s my strong view regardless. It`s all about money as usual, hiding behind a pretend good cause. That part of the world has always been in turmoil and I see no way to stop it aside from a miracle sadly.
Hello Tea.... I join you in sending heartfelt condolences to all who suffered in this horrific tragedy. May the Lord protect us from such evil. Love - Marion
Hello Tea, this horrid shooting has broken the hearts of all around the world, the sadness that our young are killed like this is almost too much to cope with.
I also want to thank you for your kindness while I then Rob have been ill. Your blog has blossomed like a lovely summers day while I have been away now I must go and read more of it.

A beautiful and thoughtful tribute to those who are suffering as a result of this senseless act.

Hello Tea,
What a nice tribute. My thoughts are with the families of the dead.
