Rest in Peace Precious Sweet Teddy.......

In Loving Memory
Teddy aka "The Cat That Would Be Heard"
March 1987-April 14 2010

I had to finally put Teddy to rest last Friday. Had the vet come to the house. It was awful...it was heartbreaking. You lived a long good life Teds and shared so very many memories with me in this house for 23 years. You were the last to share them.
It`s empty feeling now in the front room without old Teds laying on his pillow by the fire.

I know I don`t bother much with this blog anymore and I`m sorry for that because I`ve lost touch with so many wonderful bloggers. I just haven`t had the inspiration over the past few years and nothing really to write about anymore.
Life is strange and rather puzzling at times filled with many questions and no answers. Questions I`m afraid to ask for fear of the answers I guess. Oh well such is life. Onward and upward...stiff upper lip as Theodore might say LOL Teddy on the other hand would have given me a cuddle and purr :)

Anyway, it`s a beautiful and glorious summer day here on this May 24th long weekend and I don`t have to work until tomorrow. It`s Queen Victoria`s Day or rather called Victoria Day here in Canada. Loads of fireworks go off this night.
We did go to the horse races last night and that was fun. And I loved Alice in Wonderland by the way.
A wonderful movie to see is called " Letters To Juliet " and Vanessa Regrave is perfect in it. It takes place in Tuscany and is one of those movies that makes you just sigh for the touching love and beauty in it. Highly recommended!

Have a wonderful weekend if there is still anyone out there that might happen by here.

Oh tea I know how you feel....it's so sad...you had Teddy a long time...when they get so old and you know they don't feel the best, it makes it alittle easier to have them put down...I still cried when Maxie was put down, but I know now it was for the best...he kept falling down...give Elvis a hug and kiss from me....judy

Thanks for stopping at my blog.
I'm so sorry about your Teddy. We had to put our cat, Cleo to sleep last year, so I know how you feel. It's just awful, but we knew it was best.
Thinking of you tonight!

Thank you for visiting 'tea'? what a wonderful name ... I've just had a lovely quick visit (which won't be my last).

You have really whetted my appetite for the film (Alice) I'm not sure whether or not my youngest grandson Louis would be able to see the film but - sure as God made apples I know I would love to see it. It looks a bit dark for him (he's only 5 yrs) I have a feeling that folk would wonder if I was a bit 'nuts' if I went to see it myself - just have to bribe one of the kids to go with me! It certainly looks 'amazing'!

As for being on 'hiatus' I feel just the same myself atmo!

Will def visit again - Cheers and Hugs Kate x.

Oh Tea, it's always so heartbreaking to lose a pet, whether they pass away on their own or you have to make the difficult decision to relieve them of their suffering. Teddy was lucky to have such a warm and loving owner for so many years, and I'm sure that he has given you many precious memories.

The name of the blog caught my eye as I too love Margaritas and had recently moved to the country and it is bliss.

Then I read your story of the farewell to your companion. Last fall I too lost my baby - she was just a year old and broke my heart. She is buried out in the garden under the plum tree and when I was last in the States had a sign made that reads MATYIKA MEMORIAL GARDEN.

Cheers to you and your memories of Teds! If you are ever in Hungary you are welcome to share a Margarita with me in the country.
