A Granny in the Garden and "Sorry Elvis"......

It`s been a busy time on the weekends lately with a few family reunions and one very special baby shower.
The baby shower was for my son and his girlfriend. Yep....I`m officially going to be a granny. Their having a baby boy in October :)
I think since Nana is my own Mum, I`ll use Nan. I`ve actually even considered Granny LOL

Now my apologies must go out to Elvis for these next two pictures. The other morning while I was getting ready for work, he bashfully walked into the bathroom like this.....

Yes.....caught in action and could not deny trying to put his head into the garbage can again. I brought him out into the kitchen, all the while laughing, and made him pose for pictures of his sins...
Love you Elvis pups xox

Love, love, love these photos of Elvis! He looks bashful indeed!

And congratulations on the new baby in the family. Where I live a lot of older grandmothers are called things like, MeeMaw, and MamMaw. I would not adise those however. I think your idea is much better!

Congratulations, Tea! (or should I say "Gran"?) You must be so excited.

Poor Elvis.

Those stuffed spring rolls you made below look absolutely delish.

Hope you are having a great weekend.

oops, make that "Nan", not "Gran".

One of my other blogging buds is
going to be called "Gran".
My friend at work is "Nana", another is "MeeMaw".

What ever happened to "Grandma"? LOL. I can't keep up with all the new names.

p.s. it's me again, and i'm still laughing about that picture of Elvis....I copied it and am carrying it around in my purse....it just makes me happy....
By the way is Elvis part Springer Spaniel....? judy

Judy....hahahahh!!!
It was hilarious to actually be there too.
Elvis doesn`t have Springer Spaniel in him. He`s a mix of Border Collie, Lab and I don`t know what else really. The vet always thinks of him as an Australian Shepard because of his markings.

I just popped in -- and -- congrats on the grandbaby. You are definitely not a granny. Nan... nana, Gigi... zsa zsa (these are all grandma names that I know of...)

Also... love the pictures of Elvis. So funny.

Congratulations, Nan-to-be! My parents just became "Nana and Grandpa" (courtesy of my sister-in-law, not me) and I am now an aunt. How exciting it is to welcome a new baby into the family.

I got a real laugh out of your pics of Elvis. They're priceless!

Hello Tee, just have bumped into your blog and I must write a comment:
Oh my God, Elvis looks really hilariously!!:-) My sister has a spaniel and she (the dog, not my sister) has the same expression everytime she does something wrong and knows that we know:-) They are so lovely:-)
And congratulation to your nannyhood:-) The world around you always change when the baby appear (or is going to appear). But the change is so nice and amazing. I am an auntie for almost two years and my small niece is the most important and most discussed person in the whole family:-)
Have a nice day:-)

Congratulations on the expected grandbabyTea. I'm going to be a nana again in March 09. I think nana is very British, as that is what we always called our grandmothers when we were children. Love the photo of Elvis, what a card. At least he has the grace to look sheepish.

Aww poor Elvis, he does look cute though. Why do we take photos of our pets like this. My dad used to put glasses, hats and ties on our poor labrador Candy. When she was a pup he wrapped toilet roll around her and trailed it down the stairs like the Andrex dog, but then again who didnt do it? LOL!
