This is how it Really Looks.....

I used an old picture for that last post because my camera has run out of batteries and I haven`t replaced them yet. This is a picture from several weeks ago but just add another inch or so and you get the picture of what can cause the winter blahs. Pretty...but we have had no breaks in snow this winter and another ...though supposedly short....storm is on the way again this morning. Elvis hasn`t turned to drink Carolyn, although he would gladly eat or drink anything offered to him hehe.
Funny how when we`re young we learn that April showers bring May flowers and yet here in Canada that happens rarely. Strange long cold snowy winter this year with no breaks from it and I really hope we get more than a couple months of warm weather because I`m really looking forward to planting.
Hope everyone has a great weekend! Off to the British show in Toronto next Saturday.

I really feel for you. I grew up in Michigan and lived most of my adult life on the east coast and so I KNOW about those winters. But some are worse than others and it sounds like you're having quite a bad one. My Michigan family is at their wits end.

I'm getting fed up with winter as well! It's been a long one this year. It's very pretty to look at - from this side of the window!!

I was thinking of going to the British show next weekend, but we are picking up a new (well, new for us) car on Saturday. Will you stand in line to see Ashley?

You do have a snowy garden! We may be looking like that by morning here in NW Arkansas!
Did you get any photos from the British show or is that still coming up?

And our weather seems to follow the old poem to the T...March roars in like a lion and out like a lamb. April brings May flowers...It is 60 here today and I am a happy girl! I love your dog in the below post! I love happy dogs.

Here in ND too it is more like this: March winter brings April winds. April winds brings May showers. May showers bring - finally - June flowers.

We haven't had near the snow you have had in Ontario but I still am under the deep influence of winter blahs. We have another Alberta clipper coming through this afternoon/tonight. Oh joy.

Hope Spring comes to you soon.

Well it looks absolutely fantastic!

OK I hope for your sake you DO get spring soon... but that is SUCH a pricturesque shot

we barely EVER get snow... least not snow that settles in any depth for more than an hour... the last real snowy winter was in 1981 or 1982 when I was 9 or 10!... Global warming has killed the British climate... now we grow BETTER champagne than Champagne in France..!... + did you know that in about 1582 you could ICE SKATE as a matter of course on the river Thames from North London to the South?... utterly inconceivable nowadays... in fact all that effluent in the water's probably dropped the freezing point to below minus 40!
