And here`s the sweet old birthday boy today as well. We can`t quite remember which spring month it was he was born so we go by my daughter`s birthday. Which means on the 11th of this month Teddy is 23!
His hips bother him and he walks slower sadly and though he`s up and around and eats well, he mostly lays by the fire on the huge dog bed that I`d made for Elvis. Had to put a bit of rolled up fabric by the fireplace edge also because on the really cold days he wanted closer. Poor old thing. He wants to go outside due to the sun having arrived again, but the snow puts him off yet. Didn`t like the flash of the camera either.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. I`m mostly just taking it easy and recovering from a back injury. But that`s another story.

23 oh my. I lost my 21 and 22 year olds recently.....ask your doctor about rimadyl for teddy, it will make him much more comfortable. Hope your back is better soon, i can relate!!!! Spring is ALMOST HERE!! :-)

It has been a little while since we had a visit! I haven't been posting much during this past year and in fact don't post at all on blog in a cyber bottle anymore. I do put the odd photo up at my newer siteviews from my camera. We now live full time in Muskoka and I must say I don't miss the city lights and action at all!
I hope that Teddy has a lovely birthday lazing by the fire or enjoying the sunshine. He has reached fine old age likely due to all the TLC he receives!
Hope your back is feeling better soon. Surely this lovely sunshine must help.
I saw Alice in wonderland and I loved it...a must see in 3D.... and I can tell that Elvis looked up for that picture just for me... LOL... judy

I did see Alice in Wonderland and enjoyed it. Depp was good as usual!
That is film I am looking forward to seeing, may buy it on dvd too.
I do hope your back is getting better, nothing worse than back problems they can just knock you sick.
That is a beautiful cat and i am not a cat woman, i do not understand cats too well, more of a doggy person.

He looks in very good nick for a 20 year old tomcat... no gnarled ears or anything... my cat got bitten on the ear by a rat. The swine took a chunk out of it, and from that moment on ny Dad renamed her "Tickets please...."!

I don't know how to contact you, so I'm just going to write a second time on this blog post...with my favorite Elvis... thanks for stopping by my blog Tea, I have been so lax on reading and leaving a comment on other blogs...in fact I have only posted a few times...I just lost the spark....but I don't want to loose touch with you and Elvis...I love your profile picture with Elvis.. your very pretty...I hope your back is feeling better...I had shingles about 2 months ago, and I'm finally off advil...but I still get pain off and on...I have Buddy my sons dog (who I think is mine now...LOL) so I have someone to complain too....and it just wouldn't be the same without a dog around...he's almost 11 too...which means, I will have to go through the same thing I went through with Maxie, and it breaks my heart to think about it...so I won't....well keep in touch, and give Elvis a squeeze and a smooch... judy
