Today is Remembrance Day in Canada
May we never forget the soldiers who fought for our freedom and the ones still fighting deadly wars at this very moment.

has an amazing picture! The two British WWI soldiers in the card are her Scottish great uncles.

Thanks for the link, Tea.
Lest We Forget,
Julie
It was moving indeed when we had our two minutes silence. I lost my great uncle who was 18 on Hill 60.
This is one of the wonderful things about blogging...it teaches us the customs and holidays other than our own! I didn't realize that you guys had a "Remembrance Day" that was like our "Veteran's Day". Good to know...I'll check out Julie Marie's blog. Thanks for linking to it.

wonderful post. On Sunday I was in Rhode Island visiting family bt also attending the dedication of the WWII Memorial that my uncle designed. It was so cool to see him there after years of hard work. I posted a few photos on Monday.
This day always makes me cry!
May we NEVER forget. My dad AND my mom were both in the army in the early 50's. Thank God for the men and women who have and who are serving our country.
